Hi everyone, we are a group of people who knit /crochet for various causes in the UK and also around the world. A list of the causes we support can be found in the files section of the Facebook site and will soon be listed here. We also have lots of patterns on the Facebook site.

I take in all the donations here in Rhyl, take pictures and log them, and show them on the group. I will then distribute them to the different causes we have on our books. I often store items until they are needed, such as blankets for the homeless or homeless veterans to be distributed closer to the colder weather.

We are a no pressure group unlike some other groups so we don't set targets. We are just happy to recieve what ever you can manage. Knitting is supposed to be a hobby or past time, so lets enjoy ourselves!

We have a few restrictions but these are common sense, such as what type of wool to use for baby items as some wools can scratch their delicate skin, and no crochet premature baby items as they can get their little fingers caught in the holes. If you need advice, please ask.

We do have donations of wool and buttons etc come in but unfortunately we rely heavily on people using their own supplies. I know the majority of you are happy to do that and we really appreciate all that you do. I am happy to send wool out to members when I have some to spare. Odd balls can be found with friends or charity shops.

We are also very social and have a laugh and a joke on the Facebook site. We often post non knitting related posts like Good Morning and show us your Christmas Tree.
